The first Future Economy Collaboration Business Forum (1st FEC Business Forum) took place in Kuala Lumpur from 23rd – 26th November 2019. As reflected in the title “The Future of Asia Collaborative Economy + African EEMS“, the core theme of this year’s forum was the role of businesses in increasing links between Asian countries in view of the present political, economic and technological challenges. Keynote addresses by political and business leaders from Benin, Burkina Faso, China, Cambodia, D.R. Congo, Cote D’Ivoire, Ghana, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Maldives, Nepal, Nigeria, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, Vietnam, United State of America highlighted the future of business collaboration in Asia and Africa while two panel discussions between Asian and African EEMS executives focused on discuss opportunities created by the collaborative economy, challenges associated with its development and policy solutions and in responding to global technological challenges.
